Firm Background

Simmons Johnson & Co. has developed from an accountancy practice originally started by John Simmons in 1978. John Simmons commenced the practice in his own right, after having been a partner in the firm of Greenwood Challoner & Co.

Leigh Johnson joined with John Simmons in late 1980 having gained experience working with Duesburys (now Deloittes) and Hungerfords (now KPMG). Both John and Leigh were admitted as members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1976.

The firm consists of two partners, a team of professionals and support personnel. We are ideally suited to provide quality advice and service to small and medium sized enterprises. Our services and facilities have been structured with the basic philosophy of providing the best possible service to our clients.
