Robert commenced his career with Coopers & Lybrand, Sydney and has over 35 years experience in public accounting. His experience includes nine years as an audit partner in Melbourne with Ernst & Young and its predecessor firms, four years running a manufacturing business, and the past nine years as a partner in a five partner chartered accounting practice and has been with Nexia for the past five years. 

Robert has experience in auditing public companies, has been involved in valuations and due diligence assignments and was an insurance company auditor for a number of years.   In more recent years Robert has spent a considerable amount of time assisting and advising clients in relation to developing and growing their business. His clients cover a range of industries, including a number in the wine industry, freight industry, solicitors, doctors, hotels, family run businesses and high net wealth individuals.
 
In addition to working in Sydney and Melbourne, Robert has worked overseas in Papua New Guinea and Europe.
