Andrew Hoffmann brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to his role as Partner, Audit and Assurance Services. His background includes extensive managerial and auditing experience with a Big-Four Firm and four years as the commercial manager with an Australian subsidiary of a European mining services and industrial plant company. Extended working periods in Europe and a broad spectrum of clients from retail and distribution to manufacturing add to his depth of knowledge and keen market insight.

Over the past three years, he has focused on growing the Firm’s interest in two major industries. Firstly in the not-for-profit industry and in particular the education sector. Secondly, in the energy and resource industries. Actively seeking new business in this area, he and his team have undertaken specialist training to develop the unique skills required for these industries. He encourages his team to keep abreast of industry developments to ensure they clearly understand the risks and possibilities their clients face on a day-to-day basis.

Andrew also has extensive experience working with large family groups operating in industries including construction, manufacturing, textiles and retail.

Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia. An active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Andrew was a member of the CA Program and Admission Committee, was chairman of the membership committee and regularly facilitates focus sessions for the program. Andrew is a regular presenter on topics including technical audit and accounting matters and on issues within his areas of specialisation.  He is also a member of the Firm's Executive Management Team.
